If you follow this tutorial, you will end up with a fully functional blog, with markdown formatting, tagging, commenting. You will also get a walkthrough of the many of hobos features. If you just want the code for this blog, then you can get it from Google Code. This tutorial only assumes one thing, which is that you have ruby and the hobo, maruku, and syntax gems installed.

  1. Posting
  2. Customizing Cards, Forms, and Pages
  3. Tagging
  4. Commenting
  5. Lifecycles
  6. Theming

    Hi =)

    Shortly after I began to work with Hobo a few weeks ago, I found your hobo-powered blog on how to create a blog on hobo, and it's a great ressource and helped me a lot. So thank you :-)

    Now I'm wondering whether you will complete your article series?

    bye,
    Peter

    I'm hoping to complete it. I started a new job recently and it's been consuming most of my coding energy. I'll try to get you another post this weekend. :)
